WINAUTOMATION TUTORIAL SERIES
THE SOFTOMOTIVE TEAM – AUGUST 25, 2018
Hello and welcome to the tutorial on UI and Desktop automation using WinAutomation. To automate desktop applications, WinAutomation uses selectors which access particular elements. As mentioned in a previous tutorial video, selectors are associated with controls that are saved in the Controls Repository. The controls are then linked to each of the UI actions. To illustrate how selectors and desktop automation work, we will create a process that takes records from an Excel spreadsheet and uses them to populate a billing application.
