Running Jobs With Mouse Clicks On A VPS?

I bought a vps hoping I could run some of my jobs that involve mouse moves and clicks but the problem is it seems I have to be logged into the vps through RDP for it to have a mouse to move and click with.

Is there anyway I can do this without it using my mouse so I can do other stuff while its running?

I tried the autologin script method but it's still not registering and clicks or mouse moves.

You will have to install a seperate license on the server, and run the jobs on there. You will need to be logged onto the server, but not necessarily watching the job run. As long as you have the window in the background, and not minimized, the job will run flawlesly. :) Samantha

@samantha

What does this mean? Install a seperate license on the server? Install a license of what?

I just re-read your note. I was under the impression you were running the scripts compiled, not through the Console. Is this not the case?

If this is not the case, then you would only need to have the script login a user on the machine, prior to executing the scripts. You can read more information on "Autologin" here:

@Samantha

My problem would be solved if the autologin script worked for Windows Server 2008 R2.

Is there any other script that can do this for me on win2008?

My script wont run on my VPS when I am logged out. I need something that will keep me logged in after I disconnect from the VPS from Remote Desktop

Did you try the autologin with LogonExpert?

If my memory does not trick me, it's 2003 that can be handled by the autologin app, and 2008 that can be handled by LogonExpert.   Please do give it a try and let me know whether this has worked for you.   Samantha

It turns out logonexpert will not log you back in from a session. It will only log you back in if you are logged off.

I run WA on my VPS 24/7, and have a secondary VPS stay logged into the primary VPS through RDP 24/7. I presume that you could keep WA active and logged in by running another virtual machine inside your VPS and keeping the window open.

do you need to re-log in, you could instead run a script to log you off (this can happen while the machine is locked I believe) and you could then have logon expert log you in.

Could you please give this scenario a try?
