Re: How to move just one file of several in folder

Hello Thyzor,

You can use a File Monitor Trigger, to monitor the folder for any xls files created within the specified folder. This way, whenever an xls file is added to this folder, the job will be triggered, and you can then specify within the job what you want to do with this file or specify any other actions as well.

If you only want it to run once, you can set in the Job's properties, that if an instance is already running, then do not run a second instance of the job.

You can see this forum thread here for more details regarding setting up the job to do what you want
http://www.winautomation.com/forum/automatically-u...

Let me know if you need any further assistance

:)

Hmm The trigger does not work when a new file is created in the folder. Nothing happens when i set the File Monitor Trigger. Did i miss something?

Hello Thyzor,

That's weird. Could you please attach the job so that I can see what it is you have done and advise you better on it?

:)

Hello Thyzor,

I do not see anything wrong with the .waj file you sent me. You should have said it's a network folder from the start. Please make sure that the user that is logged in when the job runs has access to the network folder.

Please check this article:
http://www.winautomation.com/kb/monitor-network-fo...

It will help you set it all up!

Let me know if it worked for you.

:)
