I would like to create a job to open browser, browse some records in a website ( database driven website) and tag some of the records ( input data in 1 field basically and click on a button to confirm) . every page has a unique reference displayed on it, so ideally i need to store the reference on my local file so i know the job is not amending existing records. is this is possible ? ideally in a non-interactive mode so i can use my pc for other stuff too.

the website I want to automate is a site with a dedicated login before.
The data from which a I would like to the online form is a windows forms application.
So my first suggestion was to automate a simple copy paste process.
I don't understand the suggestion with the download from web task.
Do you have a sample where I can try myself?

That can easily be done, using the "Download from Web" action, depending on the site's structure. If you would like to give me a few more details (url, field you want to input data to, and ref number you want to get) I could give you a baseline to work on.
