Example Job: Application Automation using Macro Recorder  (view all examples)

This is a job that has been recorded using WinAutomation's Macro Recorder and sends some keystrokes and mouse clicks to WordPad. For illustrative purposes this job will run at normal speed. You may increase the speed by selecting:
Tools -> Set Playback Speed
from the Job Designer's main menu.

Note that the recorder not only records mouse moves based on the active window and its location, but also creates the appropriate actions to have the job wait for the correct window to appear (actions 3,9,11,17 in this example). This way the job will run correctly even at full speed without getting confused by occasional delays of the computer (a major problem with common macro recorders).

Of course, since a recorded job consists of actions, you may later edit, modify or enhance it through the Job Designer without having to re-record it.
