Example Job: Automate Daily Backup (view all examples)

This simple job performs a daily backup (as it is executed daily by the Schedule Trigger) by compressing all files in a folder into a Zip archive.

The archive name will be:
BackupYYYY-MM-DD.zip
where YYYY-MM-DD represents the date of the backup.

(The example job is the XML file included in the zip file.
To import a job and run it in WinAutomation you must choose File -> Import Job
from the WinAutomation Console's main menu)

Setup of the Schedule Trigger:

Add a Schedule Trigger for the job:

Select Schedule Trigger

Configure Schedule. In this example we choose the job to run daily at 8:00 PM:
