Get all Tweets & Retweets of a User including Date and User Retweet Details

Solution:

Discussion:

In order to get all the Tweets and Retweets a User has done and store them to a text file with a datestamp, all we have to do is use┬áthe Twitter Addon and build our very own Twitter API. We first login to twitter using the “Specify Twitter Account” action, and get all the Tweets of the User, and then continue to get the Retweets the User has done.

We use the “Get Twitter User Timeline” action to retrieve the User’s timeline, that would be a list containing all User’s Tweet activity.

Retweet the last Tweet of a user

Discussion:

In order to retweet the last tweet of a user, all you need to do is to login using the Twitter Addon, through the “Specify Twitter Account” action, and then using the “Get Twitter User Timeline” get the Timeline of the user you want to get the last Tweet of. Having done that, you then use the “Retweet a Tweet” action, where you specify that you want to retweet the last tweet of the user’s timeline. To do that u use the last item on the list using the %UserTimeline[0]% variable.

I want to download a list of webpages without opening any browsers and save their contents

Problem:

I want to download a list of webpages without opening any browsers and save their contents in a date-stamped Folder

Solution:

Discussion:

To start with, we create a list of all the websites we want to be scraping, and save them in a txt file. We then continue by getting the current date and time, and convert it to text using a format that we can use to name a folder after, and then, using the “For Each” action, we run a number of actions for each website on that list. We first run the “Download from Web” action, which we configure to use the %CurrentSite% each time, and download the page, saving it in the %WebPageText% variable.
