I want to move files containing a specific keyword to a specific folder

Problem:

I want to move files containing a specific keyword to a specific folder

Solution:

Discussion:

To start with we need to define 3 things:

1. They keyword we are searching for,

2. The folder whose files we shall be looking into

3. The folder to which the files should be moved to in the event the keyword is found within.

It is very important that we understand that the “Read Text from File” action, can only be used to read the contents of files that can be successfully read within notepad.

So we use a “Display Input Dialog” action to allow the user define the keyword, we use a “Display Select Folder” dialog to select the folder we shall be looking within for files that contain the keyword we are looking for, and a second “Display Select Folder” dialog to select the folder to which we shall be moving our files.

I want to control WinAutomation jobs running and stoping using the Command Line

Problem:

I want to control WinAutomation jobs running and stopping using the Command Line

Solution:

Discussion:

We can run a job from the Command Line by setting our folder to be

C:Program FilesWinAutomation

and then by submiting the line:

WinAutomationController /start “My Jobs/Folder Name/Job Name”

our job will run.

We can stop a job from the Command Line by setting our folder to be

C:Program FilesWinAutomation

and then by submiting the line:

WinAutomationController /stop “My Jobs/Folder Name/Job Name”

our job will stop.

And we can also retrieve a list of all Jobs running by setting our folder to be

C:Program FilesWinAutomation

and then by submiting the line:

WinAutomationController /ListRunning

on the command line window a list of all jobs running will be printed.
