Using Data from Excel – Part II

In the first part of the “Using Data from¬†Excel” blog post, we retrieved all the information from the Excel file and stored them in a data table variable called: %ExcelDataTable%. We also added a “Send Email” action that will send a single email to a specific recipient. In the second part of the blog post, we are going to create a Loop in order to send the email to every address in the xlsx file.

After doing some research in our forum, I came across the same question, ¬†multiple times: “How do I read all the information from an Excel file and then use it to send an email or fill a form?”. I am writing this article to give you a step-by-step guide about how you can read all the information that are stored in an Excel worksheet, and use it to send customized emails to multiple recipients. WinAutomation Features – The Ping Trigger

One of the most frequently used triggers in WinAutomation is, without a doubt, the “Ping Trigger”. To sum up its functionality in two sentences, we could say that: “the ping trigger will ‘ping’ a host (usually an IP address or a URL) at the interval you set. If the host does not respond within the timeout you set, this registers as a failed ping attempt, and triggers the Job.” (this is actually the main description of the trigger in WinAutomation’s Help File).
